What are the various types of accommodation you can have at a creative family beach vacation?
When you are planning your creative family beach vacation, you are going to have lots of accommodation options. Here's a list of the various types, and the differences between them: Bed and Breakfast A bed and breakfast is defined by it's name...a place where you can spend the night, and get a nice breakfast in the morning. Lunch and dinner are not usually offered, and guests often will share the bathroom facilities. In many cases Bed and Breakfast establishments are converted homes, where the owners are trying to make a few extra dollars by renting out extra rooms. Campsite/Campground If you have a tent or trailer or camper, you might want to bring your accommodation with you on your creative family beach vacation. A campsite is basically a place where an individual or family can spend the night out of doors. When a group of campsites are grouped together sharing common amenities, it is called a campground. Hostel A hostel is in many respects a hotel that has limited amenities. They are generally favored by younger travelers with less money. Guests will often have to share a room, as well as bath and shower facilities. In some of the more recent hostels it is possible to have a single room and bath, but this is not as common as the traditional hostel setup. Hotel Hotels are generally more luxurious than the simpler hostels, and as a result, they will cost you a bit more money. Guests generally have their own room and bathroom, and maid services are also usually provided. Fresh towels, a made up bed, and trash removal are usually provided on a daily basis. Motel Many people are confused at the difference between a hotel and a motel. A motel is generally a single building of connected rooms. The doors to these rooms often face out to a common parking lot. As such, there is no need to go through a lobby to enter your room.
